I’ve wore it several times and it helps A LOT!! I’ve been having back pain and when I wear it I feel my back is getting lots of the support it needs and I’m don’t feel uncomfortable when I walk. I feel it’s a great garment to use during pregnancy, especially when you’re planning to be out for a couple of hours doing lots of walking.

I have tried three types of bras from this line and I wanted to share my feedback with other moms.
My favorite bra is the Everyday Bra with Seamless Comfort Cups. It incorporates the wide comfortable band around the midsection along with front and back clasp closures. It makes it extremely easy to put on, especially when you are so large that you cannot twist and turn very easily. It also has four clasps to allow for an ever growing upper belly area. A very comfortable and secure day or night bra.
The Active Bra with Seamless Comfort Cups is also a great sleep bra. What I love the most is the extra wide banding and the full coverage, so that you don’t fall out when you’re sleeping on your side.
The Wireless Contouring Support Bra with Self-Adjusting Cups is very comfortable! The extra wide banding around the mid-section is fabulous. I looked everywhere for a bra that wouldn’t cut into me while pregnant and this is the one. Ahhh, relief at last! The cup sizes are one size fit all so it expands with you as you grow. No need to buy additional bras as your cup sizes change during pregnancy. There are four sets of clasps to allow maximum expansion with your back too.
Give Design Veronique Maternity Bras a try. Your bust and back will thank you!
I used this maternity band during the last month of my pregnancy. This was my second child. For my first pregnancy, the weight spread evenly, but with my second pregnancy, all the weight went right to my belly, subsequently causing me constant lower back pain. Funny, how your body varies from one pregnancy to the next. Here I had this itty, bitty, petite body and a huge, I mean HUGE belly! The maternity band helped by lifting my tummy and that relieved some of the stress on my lower back. My sister-in-law is due in 2 months and I am going to buy her one of these bands, a pregnancy bra and the after delivery girdle to wear when she has the baby. I’m sure the baby will get enough stuff:-)
Before my first son was born, a friend told me that wearing a girdle immediately after birth and beyond was a good way to help your stomach shrink after delivery. So with my first son, I used a girdle and the results were good. This pregnancy, I saw in some magazines that special garments were available that were designed specifically for post-delivery. I really wanted to try them, but I was not sure where to purchase them (I guess I didn’t really look into that part too much). When I saw your brochure in the doctor’s office, I was excited to give the product a try—but unfortunately I didn’t know about the Design Veronique garments until a few days after delivery. In the interim, I was wearing my girdle from the first pregnancy, so my results are probably a mixed bag.
My stomach did shrink very well– I was wearing my old jeans again in just a couple of weeks and could wear semi-fitted shirts without anything but a slight bulge. To compare your garment to the old girdle, yours had much lighter fabric and I could barely tell it was on, while the girdle still felt tight and providing support. The previous girdle also had a tendency to roll down when I sat, but yours didn’t. My stomach looked about the same size when wearing either garment. (more…)
Dear Mariko and everyone at DV-
I had the pleasure of speaking with Mariko (who is delightful) a few weeks ago before I had my son (my 3rd child in 3 years) and she was so helpful in giving me direction on which garment to select. I was scheduled for a c-section (my first) but was unsure of the size. She helped me settle on the correct size and I’m so glad she did.
I had an incredibly difficult surgery and recovery with a lot of complications and I felt like I would never feel human again. I waited about 6 days before I attempted to put on my garment, but when I did it was an amazing difference. I actually had a decrease in the pain I felt in my abdomen, my back felt better. I could move better and nursing didn’t hurt my back so much.
I’ve also noticed that my tummy has gone down much faster than my first two children when I didn’t wear anything. I’ve actually just ordered the corset garment in a smaller size since I’m shrinking so much faster than I anticipated.
Thank you for your wonderful service and product.
What a brilliant idea to design a post-pregnancy girdle that gets tighter as you get smaller! I had a baby 9 weeks ago and I’ve been using this thing for 3 weeks. I love the fact that I can tighten the corset as needed. It’s also nice to know that my waist is shrinking and I know it is because I’ve already gotten to the middle adjustment!
I love this product and I will continue wearing it until I get to the tightest hook!
Mariko, you were right! The size 3 was perfect. Thank you for all your help. The empathetic approach you take with helping your customers is rare these days. I feel like I have gained a friend through this whole postpartum girdle shopping experience. I could not have gone through this alone.
See you at the beach in an itsy bitsy bikini!
Thank you for taking the time to share your own pregnancy experiences with me and helping me find the right product to use after giving birth to my dear Malia.
I love the garment you recommended for me. It’s perfect!
I feel secure and protected and it is surprisingly comfortable. It’s fantastic in the sense that I can easily conceal the garment under everyday clothing.
I am only 4 weeks postpartum, and I feel stronger and my belly looks better than it did at this time after my first pregnancy.
I would like to again express my gratitude towards you and Design Veronique for developing such an amazing product for women.
